Steve Harris, LCSW

Steve began his outpatient psychotherapy practice in 1987 as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, following earlier work in hospital settings. He joined Metropolitan Psychotherapy Associates, where he practiced until retiring in 2024.

Steve worked with adult individuals, couples, families, and groups, supporting clients in areas including mental health, relationships, addiction recovery, men’s issues, creativity, and personal thriving. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist and Supervisor, he also provided supervision and training to other therapists, and consultation to addiction treatment centers.

Throughout his career, Steve valued collaboration with colleagues and was committed to supporting clients in achieving insight, growth, and meaningful change in their lives.
